A Wi-Fi hotspot is a physical location that provides the space for users to access their devices using the internet, even from some remote space, by using a Wi-Fi connection or a router connection to the internet service provider.
Nowadays, hotspots are even provided in public places such as cafes, restaurants, hotels, etc., to maintain interrupted access to people for the internet. Few places offer free Wi-Fi hotspots, whereas many may offer payment options according to their policies.
In every smartphone, a mobile hotspot is an inherent feature. Once the hotspot in the smartphone is turned ON, the mobile operator can share the network connection wirelessly to other devices to freely access the Internet.
